New York is a state for dreamers, and it's full of people who aspire to do big and grand things.
I have loved the many adventures I have had under it's wing, so I have decided that by the Summer of 2019 I will be permanently sipping tea and reading my favorite book in my new favorite coffee and bagel spot with at least one of my favorite people in the world. Dalis has decided to take this leap with me, and she'll be posting on here occasionally. If you stick around you'll get to read about our adventures in the big city; it will be worth the wait... I promise. Anyways, I have this aesthetically dreamy picture of what I imagine New York to be, and yes- I may be disillusioned, but when did we start living in a world where dreams could not be big and outrageous- and the light at the end of the tunnel was really a moldy rundown building with poor lighting. Dreams are supposed to be slightly unrealistic and totally far-fetched and crazy. So that is why I am choosing to dream and dream big. I want my life to be full of adventures and moments that will last a lifetime. I want to say I lived my best life, and I enjoyed every minute of it. My life and dream starts with New York, and I would and will not have it any other way.
I want to be prepared; I like sporadic and spontaneous adventures, but a move of this magnitude will not be done without a well thought out plan. This blog will be my plan everything from tips, don'ts. money savers, how to budget, best places to eat, how to survive the subway, free events, to anything I find that looks helpful, and this blog will be filled with my dreams and my hopes. I hope you enjoy this journey, and that you are inspired to follow your dream. For now New York is a dream, and I cannot wait to make it a reality. When we dare to let our dreams become a our realities spmething magical happens;Oh the Places You Could Go...
